This barbecue sauce is my riff on the classic Carolina style barbecue sauce. It is the perfect accompaniment to pork or chicken and is now one of the staples in my pantry.
- ½ C Dijon Mustard
- ½ C Ketchup
- 2 T Cider Vinegar
- 2 T Molasses
- 2 T Olive Oil
- 2 T Worcestershire
- 2 t Liquid Smoke
- 2 t Aardvark Hot Sauce (Sriracha will work in a pinch and may be more accessible)
- Salt and Black Pepper to Taste
Mix all of these ingredients together and whisk thoroughly until completely combined.
