Our adult-only resort is surrounded by gorgeous walking trails, breathtaking hillsides, and a variety of vibrant wildlife. Inside, you’ll find a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with an array of places to unwind. The Inn at Honey Run is more than a destination. Tarragon Restaurant
Tarragon at The Inn at Honey Run offers premier fine dining for guests of Holmes County and our boutique hotel in Amish Country. Our menu, designed by Executive Chef Bret Andreasen, draws inspiration from the Alpine Cuisines of Austria, Germany, Italy, and France.
Open Air Art Museum
Experience the fusion of art and nature while strolling the trail of our Open Air Art Museum. The OAAM showcases large-scale, original works from local and regional artists of various backgrounds, mediums, and disciplines.
Walking Trails
A stroll through one of our seven walking trails is the perfect way to fully immerse yourself in all the serenity The Inn has to offer. Visit our sheep, bird watch, view our Art Museum installations, or hike to the top of the hill for a stunning view.
The Honey Run Flock
Out of all the activities and amenities, guests are always especially curious and excited about our sheep. The sheep barn is a favorite stop on our walking trails, and our Tunis sheep appreciate visitors just about any time of day.
The Lounge at Tarragon
Our curated drink selections and small plates in The Lounge at Tarragon are the prefect start to an evening of romance. Stop by The Lounge at Tarragon from 3pm-9pm for our all-new small plates, bar snacks and drink offerings.
Birding & Bird Watching
Not only will the variety of species at The Inn impress even the most savvy Ohio birder, we provide birding guides, binoculars, and night vision goggles to all guests at no charge, and each room type includes a view of at least one bird feeder.
Bees & Honey Harvesting
In 2016, we began harvesting honey on-site and successfully harvested 300 pounds of honey. We now proudly package and sell jars of honey in our Gift Shop and use it in our dishes at Tarragon.

While we pride ourselves on being a peaceful retreat, we realize that most people don’t want to truly and fully disconnect from the rest of the world, so we provide complimentary Wi-Fi, HD TV, and more.

Our Gift Shop includes a wide array of items from hand-picked, one-of-a-kind pieces of art, jewelry and home decor, to some of The Inn’s favorite go-to items, such as our signature Ohio-roasted coffee blend, honey harvested on-site, Inn at Honey Run Tea, and Tarrocco bath amenities.
