Dear Honey Run Friends,
We are at the midway point for summer, and the autumn equinox is a short six weeks away. Summer nights are my favorite time to sit outside, enjoy the warm breeze, and listen to the insects and animals of the forest, but autumn sets the stage for the perfect day in my world. I love the crisp, cool days, donning a fleece jacket, and watching the forest prepare for its winter slumber. I love the smells of the autumn air and the fresh Ohio apples picked straight from the tree.
As we prepare for fall I wanted to provide you with a tool we use frequently as the season begins, to track the foliage and its peak colors. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources provides information about the fall color report, and will begin offering weekly reports tracking the changing leaves in the last week of September. You can find that report here.
If you have not already planned your visit to The Inn at Honey Run for fall I highly suggest you make these plans soon. We are filling up and already have several dates in early October sold out. I look forward to sharing this autumn season with you as we watch this living display of art become a live kaleidoscope for our enjoyment.
Your grateful Innkeeper,
Jason
I took the survey awhile ago and have not received my $50 gift card. How long does it take to get it?
Mary Cooper
Hello Mary,
The survey just closed this past Tuesday, and we are still on schedule to email your gift certificate by Monday, August 22nd. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to provide us your feedback through our survey, and we look forward to seeing you during your next visit!
