Part of being a chef involves never being satisfied with what you currently cook. It can be frustrating at times, never feeling completely happy with anything you do, but it often provides great surprises.
A few months ago, I shared my recipe for currywurst sauce, while speaking about how passionate I was about the dish. Even though it is an incredibly simple ingredient list, I had this nagging feeling that it wasn’t quite right. So here is an updated version!

Ingredients:

16 oz Ketchup
-
5 oz Tomato Sauce

2 T Apple Cider Vinegar

2 T Yellow Curry Powder

2 t White Sugar
-
2 oz Water
-
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
Method:
Combine all of the ingredients in a 4 qt sauce pot and simmer for five minutes. Chill and reserve.
