Let’s face it; Moms do a heck of a lot for us every day and they usually don’t get much thanks for it. From cleaning up our messes and making sure we eat our vegetables (or at least some macaroni and cheese if the little hooligans won’t eat anything else) to teaching the facts of life and comforting us when no one else will. And let’s not even talk about the whole giving birth to you thing, it’s just unfair! We have a lot to thank our mothers for and it’s important to let them know how much they mean to us.
I know there are some harried mothers out there who rarely get a break from the kids. There are also some mothers out there whose children are all grown up and raising their own little ones. At any stage of life, mothers are to be treasured and rewarded for their sacrifices and selfless love. As we cozy up to Mother’s Day, there will be ample opportunities to buy these awesome moms some flowers and take them to dinner. However, we think that’s a bit played out, don’t you?
I mean, the woman kept you alive all those years when it seemed like all you wanted to do was run into traffic and pull hot pans of grease down on your head! She deserves more than just dinner at Denny’s. But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
Couples are always telling us how wonderful it is to come to a place where there are positively NO CHILDREN ALLOWED. It’s a nice breath of fresh air to remember who you are outside of that whole Mommy-Daddy thing.
Gentlemen, we’ve got acres of beautiful serene countryside with singing birds and warm, cooked meals. Come out and stay with us for the weekend and let your wife, the mother of your children, relax and enjoy herself. Don’t worry, there’s wi-fi and cell phone service in case you’re concerned about leaving them with Grandma, but we’re hoping you’ll forgo the digital communication in favor of a little natural reconnection.
Ask our front desk for some enhancement amenities that might just give your weekend that added touch of perfect. We hope to see you for a visit. Our chef has prepared an amazing Sunday Brunch Menu just for the mothers out there.
Happy Mother’s Day to the women who bring us into the world and raise us to endure it.
We owe you everything.
