Dear Honey Run friends,
Together we are experiencing a once in a lifetime event with the coronavirus pandemic. Based on the Governor of Ohio’s requirements, we have closed our restaurant, Tarragon, as of 9pm Sunday night. Because of this mandatory shutdown and the high number of guests who are canceling for fear of travel, we have decided that it is in the best interest of our guests and our business to close The Inn at Honey Run, effective immediately, until April 1st, 2020. This decision did not come easy and has certainly left us with a heavy heart. We will be monitoring the situation closely and if this date needs to be extended, we will take appropriate action in the coming weeks and notify our guests.
During this time of closure, we are working vigorously to keep our entire staff employed and working, with the hopes of avoiding any disruption to their families and their livelihood. We will have our front desk phones staffed from 9am – 7pm, 7 days per week. You can call in with any questions or to make a reservation for the coming months after this crisis is behind us. We will also be using this time to perform a rigorous cleaning of our entire property, above and beyond our already exceptional standards.
If you would like to support us during this extremely difficult financial time, we would greatly appreciate your reservations made now for the coming spring, summer and fall. Your deposit will help keep the business afloat so that we can honor our employees and keep their hours and wages at their normal rates. These are uncertain times and things are changing by the hour, but I have faith that this pandemic will pass and we will return to life as we once knew it. We look forward to seeing you all very soon and sharing in the relaxation and serenity you will feel when you are able to return to your beloved Inn at Honey Run.
Thank you for your support and help during this trying time. We are praying for all of you, our nation, and our world as we make sense of this pandemic. I personally look forward to the day when we can return to sharing stories at the front desk or on the Tarragon deck while enjoying the sounds of the birds chirping and the trees rustling.
