Dear Honey Run Friends,
On Sunday I was doing my customary property walk-through examining the condition of our public spaces and I stopped to visit the sheep and goats to inspect the recently completed new fencing. While there, I sat in the chair provided and observed the sheep grazing on the hillside. Surprisingly, I found this activity very relaxing so I decided to remain in the warm September afternoon sun for a few minutes slowly losing my thoughts while feeling a rush of calm come upon my mind. I was raised in the suburbs and my only interaction with farm animals would come on the rare occasion when my family would visit friends or relatives who lived in the country. The sense of peace that I find watching these farm animals as they navigate their next meal of natural grass found on the rolling hills of Holmes County is out of the ordinary of an activity I would use to relax, but a welcomed new respite. After four years at the helm of The Inn at Honey Run I continue to discover hidden gems around this property that remind me why so many of you have come to love Honey Run and faithfully return year after year. I hope you make the time in the coming months to visit and unwind at your personal country boutique resort, The Inn at Honey Run.
I hope to see you soon,
Jason
