Dear Honey Run Friends,
What makes you get out of bed each morning? Are you on fire with passion for your day? The Inn at Honey Run was built on passion. Led by Marge Stock, hundreds of people dedicated themselves to build, invent, and nurture a respite that has the purpose of offering a place where you, our guest, have the ability to find, reignite, and feed your life’s passion.
We have been seeking ways to reconnect with many guests from the past that we have not seen in a few years. One of our successful attempts was the recent promotion we ran at the end of February for a March stay. In a twenty-four hour period over 125 of you booked a room for March. A number of the phone conversations during your reservation process on Monday revealed that you had not been to Honey Run in over five years. It thrills me to see so many of you returning. I am looking forward to sharing with you the many improvements that have been occurring while watching our original and foremost purpose of providing a serene haven remain the constant steady pulse of Honey Run.
Many guests share in the feeling that Honey Run is a magical place. It is. But what makes Honey Run magical is each of you. The magic is inside of you when you arrive; Honey Run is just the incubator that provides you the time and serenity for your passion to come alive.
“The more things change, the more they stay the same”. This French proverb encapsulates Honey Run. Yes, we are adding technology to keep up with the ever growing demands of our weekday business groups. Yes, we are improving our rooms with all the creature comforts from home, and hopefully a few more. Yes, our chef is constantly seeking new food choices to tantalize your palate all while maintaining some of the legacy favorites. Yes, winter is almost over and spring is upon us. And yet, Honey Run still offers that familiar warmth and welcome you experienced your very first visit.
I look forward to your arrival, and I hope your days are passion filled.
Sincerely,
Jason Nies
