Dear Honey Run Friends,
Summer is here! The spring weather has welcomed warmth and sunshine, the forest has come alive, the flowers and vegetation around the Inn are in full bloom and have never looked better. Many of you are running constantly with work demands, family demands, and countless other tasks we load up on ourselves in life.
I am often asked what there is to do at The Inn. While there are activities on the resort grounds and in the area our greatest amenity is the ability to stop, disconnect from the world, and be still. In our culture of constant motion, stimulation, and over saturation of the senses this seems like a foreign concept. But we all need a break from the daily grind. We need a break from the feverish pace of the world around us and we need to feel the light breeze cool our skin as the sun gently kisses our face. We all need to hear the symphony of birds singing with the choir of insects harmonizing along to create a soothing song for the soul. We need to savor the time and relationships with our Creator, family, friends, and loved ones.
The Inn at Honey Run is a sanctuary that offers you a comfortable while luxurious setting for this most valued time in your life. I pray you can find some time soon to sneak away and have the retreat you need to reconnect, rejuvenate, and refresh your body and soul so you can continue life in a more balanced and joyful way hearing the whispers of your Maker to your heart and soul.
Your in need of a retreat Innkeeper,
Jason
