Dear Honey Run Friends,
I had the opportunity to travel to Tennessee last month for a wedding, and during my trip, two things became evident to me.
First, we live in a spectacular country with a stunning landscape. Watching the light of the sun soak the hills of Kentucky and the flat farm fields of southern Ohio during my 400-mile drive made the trip relaxing and therapeutic. The countryside that America offers is so diverse and rich; it truly makes me thankful to be an American.
The second observation is that we really do offer an extraordinary hospitality experience at The Inn at Honey Run. I have stayed at a number of luxury hotels around the world, and each time, although I have a good experience, I am reminded that I am not at The Inn at Honey Run. My hotel in Tennessee made me long for The Inn at Honey Run, so much so that upon returning Sunday evening, I checked into one of our Select rooms to enjoy The Inn’s experience first-hand.
Well-designed hotel rooms already evoke a special feeling since they are not your home, but room 221 felt like an escape to a distant land. I lowered the thermostat to chill the room as I climbed into the king bed and felt the warmth of the sheets surround my body. I was instantly at peace as I rested on the cloud-like pillow top mattress. It was a glorious and much needed restful night’s sleep. Waking up to the birds enjoying their morning meal just outside my window instantly calmed me as I began my day.
I am proud of our hotel and the amenities we offer. I am even more proud of how we have been able to make the guest room experience feel like home while offering so many personal touches. The house-made biscotti, complimentary bottled water, over 100 channels of HD Direct TV with DVR, the soft towels, the exquisite soap, and plush robes are all just tiny pieces to the puzzle of the perfect experience at The Inn at Honey Run.
While I certainly have a biased opinion, I hope that you find our guest rooms in the same light as I do and experience the same magical refuge I experience each time I am blessed with a chance to stay overnight at The Inn. While there is no place like home, The Inn at Honey Run is not just a hotel; it is your home away from home.
I genuinely hope you have some time this fall or winter to come and treat yourself to a night or two of peace and tranquility at The Inn.
Your relaxed and rested Innkeeper,
Jason
