Hamamelis x intermedia- Witchazel Hybrids
Deciduous, large shrub or small tree size. Offers early bloom anywhere from late January to March, varieties available provide red, yellow, or orange bloom color and fragrance. Flowers are small, but showy and look as if confetti is covering the branches.
Helleborus sp.- hellebore or Lenten rose
Flowers appear in mid-late February and persist through the spring season. Many varieties available offering an extensive range of bloom color. Small-med sized perennial plant great for containers or along walks where flowers can be seen up close. Foliage stays evergreen to semi evergreen depending on location.
Eranthis hyemalis-Winter aconite
An early spring flowering bulb with cheery yellow flowers! Often blooms amidst a blanket of snow! Bloom time is usually early March. Will spread and naturalize an area.
Galanthus- Snowdrop
Another early flowering bulb. Delicate white flowers appear in late February to early March.
