Dear Honey Run Friends,
Early this morning I was driving to Columbus, and I had the joy of watching the sun rise over the fields. The sunshine filled me with such gratitude. As I was basking in the new light of the day, I began thinking about the most beautiful things in life. Some joys that come to mind were sunrises and sunsets, an afternoon talking with friends or family, the love of our family and friends, fellowship with church members, a walk in the forest, the view of the mountains, the ocean, the desert, a recently baptized person, a sleeping baby, watching animals frolic in the pasture, and feeling the warmth of the sun on my body.
These things have something in common – they are all free. These are gifts from God to bless our days and give us joy amidst life’s challenges. I hope that you have a moment to capture your free joy today and find a way to work this into your daily life. Life is hard, and if we are not careful and purposeful, we can allow our circumstances to snuff away the joy that has been so lovingly and freely given to us.
Your joyful-to-watch-the-sunrise Innkeeper,
Jason
That was beautiful. I too see awesome sunrises at work. I wish more people see what we do!!
Have a sparkling day Jason😆❤😄☺
Thank you. This letter is beautiful and states some of my own feelings. Again, I thank you.
Jason,
As a recent guest, just hearing your words take me back to the peace and joy I felt during my stay.
Thank you for awakening a gratefulness in my heart once again.
God bless, Crystal
Thank you. Perfect timing.
I believe it was Beecher who wisely stated, “the first hour of the morning is the rudder of the day.” I appreciate your expressions, Jason. Could you imagine if you could start each day watching the sun rise, and pausing to thank our Creator, “who makes his sun rise on both the wicked and the good”? How that could possibly empower the rest of your day, come what may?
I love the spiritual spin. Indeed, all things bright and beautiful are courtesy of Jesus—-the ultimate source of joy immeasurable.
Love this! Thanks for the reminder; on a busy hectic Monday one can lose focus on what real joy looks like! Jani
Inspiring, thoughtful, heartfelt.
Thank you Jason for sharing insightful thoughts,
to help us navigate in this confusing world.
The world is a better place, because of you Jason.

You always write such beautiful inspiring letters and this one is close to my heart. I started the New Year on a path of positivity and gratitude and have found so much peace and happiness in just a short time. God’s gifts and blessings are all around us if we just take the time to stop and notice. Thank you!
