New for this spring, The Inn at Honey Run will host a Spring Wellness Retreat featuring two days of Vinyasa yoga and meditation classes on March 21 and 22. The retreat is free for guests staying at the hotel for two nights on that weekend. Anyone not planning an overnight stay at the hotel is welcome to join the retreat for $39.
Cheryl Lemery, a professional instructor at Mat Happy Yoga in Hillard, Ohio, and Peace Yoga by Cheryl, will lead yoga and meditation classes in the Vinyasa style, which uses breath-synchronized movement. This type of yoga—popular for its smoothly flowing style—is welcoming to beginners as well as to yogis who are up for a challenge.
The Spring Wellness Retreat will also offer space for independent meditation sessions between yoga classes, in the early morning hours and late at night for an extra opportunity to unplug. The hotel’s on-site restaurant, Tarragon, will create special healthy dinner options as well as a post-session treat.
When guests aren’t working on their downward dog, they can enjoy the natural surroundings at The Inn at Honey Run—nature trails with woodland and meadow views provide opportunities for meditative walking, bird watching or just a deep breath of fresh air.
