Breema©: The Art of Being Present

Breema is called “The Art of Being Present” because it teaches us, through our own experience, that we can best support other people by being truly present with them. A nonjudgmental method, Breema supports and nurtures our inherent vitality, rather than focusing on illness or imbalance.
The bodywork sequences use a wide variety of rhythmic movements, gentle stretches, and fully-supported postures which are comfortable and enjoyable for the practitioner as well as the recipient. This approach comes from a deep understanding of the unity of all life, and is expressed in practical terms by Breema’s Nine Principles of Harmony. The principles help the practitioner to become balanced and to conserve energy which is usually lost to physical, mental and emotional tension. They create an atmosphere of real acceptance in which the recipient can most deeply be nurtured.
I’ve found Breema to be more than relaxing bodywork, but a meditative, unifying experience between practitioner and recipient. One immediately senses not two, but one harmonious being moving and flowing, awakening and yet resting, and most gently coming alive with lightness, playfulness and vitality.

Individual Breema Retreat

$218 per person – You save over 20%
The emphasis on the individual retreat is to provide you with a lot of support to simply Be. To do this, we include one-on-one guidance in meditation, Self-Breema instruction and receiving Breema Bodywork. Additionally, participants are encouraged to experience the surrounding woods as a key element of the retreat.
Simple and effective, this approach helps you shed a lot of “extra,” the mechanical clamor of mental activity and associated physical tension that often come with daily life. It’s like finding a pool of clear, fresh water and realizing you can choose to drink here.
The following itinerary can be customized to include instruction in Breema Partner Bodywork and/or Meditation sessions. It is recommended that you arrive 15 – 20 minutes before your initial session to allow plenty of time to get settled in without hurry.
The cost of your retreat includes:
9:30 – 10:15 Self-Breema
10:30 – 11:30 Breema Bodywork treatment
12:00 – 1:30 Lunch in the dining room
1:30 – 2:15 Self-Breema
2:30 – 3:30 Breema Bodywork treatment
I live alone, and so I appreciate being able to walk into a group that is so loving and touches so beautifully. After receiving Breema, I sometimes feel elated and full of energy, sometimes quiet and able to rest deeply.

A Workshop or Class is a wonderful way to be immersed in a completely nonjudgmental atmosphere and to get a taste of what Breema can do for you. You’ll learn the flowing movements of Breema partner bodywork, Self-Breema exercises, and we'll explore the Nine Principles of Harmony and their support for increased comfort in your daily life. Breema is easy to do, yet has profound benefits for the body, mind and feelings, bringing all three into balance and harmony. The partner bodywork uses nurturing touch, comfortable stretches, and rhythmic movements that are delightful to learn, practice, and receive. Self-Breema exercises can be done anywhere, in ordinary clothing and help decrystallize conditioned patterns, neutralize stress and release tension.
